Inspirations and Elations: The New Suit

This week’s inspirations and elations:
I have a new found love for the suit, and I don’t mean the business-staple-suit.. I mean the new take on the suit. It is a spring-summer suit and it can be styled up any way you like it.
Glitz up in a metallic, wear a chino with a top knot and pretty pumps, pair it with flirty ruffles, dress it down with converse and a tee, make it quirky like Carrie, or pair it with oxfords and a fedora.

I love the thin, sleek new suit styles for women! So sexy yet still shows a woman at her most powerful. Love the balance between power and femininity…very striking!

I’m in love with the 3rd one! Especially paired with that blouse; it’s so feminine!
I’m in law school and I hate stuffy suits. I would totally rock one of these, but not sure my professors would appreciate it as much as I would.
Suits are so chic, you can look so polished and put together in one. I usually go for mismatched suits but these matching suits (specially the shorts) look so effortless that I must get me one ASAP!
The chambray suit and converse look is amazing! Am I right that it is Elin Kling? Very cool. My work isn’t CRAZY conservative, but I’m still nervous about short suits. Maybe I can get away with a Carrie-inspired pants/vest combo!
