Laker Girl

2012 February 29
by B. Jones

(Hat – Thrifted, Tee – Zara, Jacket – Crossroads, Jeans – Hudson, Shoes – JCPenney, Necklaces – c/o Kings & Priests)

My hubby and I got invited to head up to LA for a Lakers game. Now, my man’s a big sports guy.. and me.. well, not so much.. but being a couple we’ve rubbed off on each other. He knows terms like “statement necklace” and designers like “Chloe” and I know about Kobe Bryant and closing pitchers. It works.

For the Laker game I wanted to be cute, but not over dressed…and with my new found love for the ball cap, it made getting dressed easy-peezy.

Just a ball cap, some skinny jeans, Lakers yellow and a coat to keep warm.. all I needed to do was add (as my hubby knows) a statement necklace.

Haha that’s cute that he knows fashion terms, that says a lot about him. I’m a huge sports girl, especially basketball. But like you did, I will typically just rock the colors to the games, opposed to logo’s all over.

Wow…this pants/shoes combo really elongate your gams! And the baseball cap atop your simple straight do…perfect! What a 180 from Marilyn. :) Hope you and the Hubs had fun!
