Transitional Pieces

(Tunic – Swellegant Vintage, Dress – Thrifted, Shoes – Sam Edelman)
Since I’ve been out and about again, I’ve been on the hunt for vintage pieces to add to my maternity wardrobe. Pieces that will work now.. and later.
While out searching I found this silky tunic! I fell in love with the sleeves, and the side slits will make it easy to wear from small bump to big bump.

I am loving seeing these regular posts from you again.
You look beautiful and healthy….and of course very stylish.

I love Swellegant Vintage!! What a great maternity item!
I really like the deep slits. As it’s functional for your ever growing belly, it looks cool to see the skirt pattern all the way up the side of the body. This pink shade looks great on you.

SO HAPPY to see you back! I’ve missed your posts!
You look great! I know. Now you think, I want to wear this now, but I could do “x” to it later (when I’m not pregnant). It’s all an adjustment, but you’re doing great.
And don’t worry (back to your whole truth post) you don’t have to LOVE every part of being pregnant or even after baby. My dr. told me a great piece of advice, “it’s just like any job, you don’t LOVE every part of your job & you may not LOVE every part of having a child (applies to pregnancy too)”. I think we beat ourselves up over a lot of things that we shouldn’t.
Anyway, you look wonderful!
You look gorgeous. Where’d you find those amazing earrings?!
Thanks! Those earrings were a thrift find. I wear them all the time!
you look radiant. I definitely think the glowmester is in full swing. So happy for you guys!
Beth,
You look absolutely gorgeous! I love your skirt and that tunic is beautifully unique! I have those Sam Eldeman shoes as well! They are of my favorite heels in my closet!!Again, congratulations to you and your husband!

Love this look! your hair looks great. I am always looking for more hair tutorials that you post! Great stuff!
Love the outfit, and as I am in my 6-7 month of pregnancy, I am eager to see how you dress your changing shape. I really appreciate the post you made a few days ago about not loving the pregnancy process so far. I have to say, I am right there with you, and am endlessly frustrated with having to buy maternity clothes that will only be worn for 3 months (tops!). I hope you feature pieces you find (as you’ve done today) that can transition through pregnancy and even be worn after (albeit probably with a belt or some sort of waist-definition). I’ve found that having children (this will be my second) has changed what I buy post-baby, too. No more silky fabrics or dry-clean only garments. Nursing friendly tops (forget wearing a shift dress of any kind!) and separates for dressy occasions. As my son is 2, now I have to wear clothes I can play and climb in and get dirty. Again–excited to see how you deal with all of this and any advice or features on these aspects of motherhood (pregnancy and beyond) would be really helpful and inspiring!
I love your wedges!
