What Would Carrie Bradshaw Do?

(Hat – Vintage, Shirt – ASOS maternity, Skirt – Thrifted, Shoes – Sam Edelman)
Dressing this body is not the easiest.. along with the belly, I’ve gained some serious weight (which is no fun), and it would be easy to just give up and resort to only mu-mus and sweats. I’ve decided to do the opposite and push myself to have fun and get creative in anyway I can. So while I’m not feeling so fabulous, I figured wearing a fabulous hat might help.
In the end the question is always, “What would Carrie Bradshaw do?”

Another great look!

You look just so beautiful! I really hope I can look that amazing if I’m ever pregnant.

‘Put a hat on it’ is the answer, me thinks

even if you don’t feel wonderful—you look ethereal! i think you are doing a bumpin’ job!
Beth, you absof***inglutely glow (you know what Mr. Big would say)! The temporary weight is gorgeous on you, and will off so fast again it will make your head spin. It will all be worth it once that sweet little guy is on your arms. Meanwhile Mommy is lookin’ good!
Still looking gorgeous. Great outfit. Baby has such a chic mommy!
gorgeous. love the background, the colors, the styling…everything.
BEAUTIFUL! This one is my favorite so far!! But you are pregnant, so don’t get me wrong, i like all the skirts, but show off that baby bump once in awhile with a nice shirt!
tight fitting shirt i mean!
I really applaud to you for being so string! I did give up near the end of my pregnancy… Wore only the slobbiest tunics and tights… You look great! Don’t worry, the wight will come off.
Love these colors together (including the makeup!) and love that hat.

I totally agree, in doubt ask yourselk what would Carrie do !
You look amazing and glowing!!! I wished I looked that good while my pregnancy, but I kinda lost my sense of style during that time.
I gained a lot of weight after my second pregnancy, and the first 20 pound litteraly disappeared by itself ! For the rest, it took some time and exercice but eventually we all go back ! Don’t get discouraged !
This is my favorite outfit you’ve ever worn!
I love your vintage turban style hat, so cute!

I was there last year hun. Hang in there… I had my twins in March and the maternity wardrobe has had to stick around to some extent… Hoping I am holding onto this 20# because of nursing… I went for a lot of short skirts, tights with heeled boots and a drapey top with belt… showing off my legs made me feel like I wasn’t in a mumu.
Beth, you are truly looking MORE and more beautiful with every single post! It’s been so fun seeing how your personal style has evolved throughout your pregnancy, but I love that you’ve been able to stay so true to your strong existing aesthetic.
Baby J is going to be one lucky little dude to have such a HOT (and sweet!) Mama!!! XO
This is my favourite look of your pregnancy! You look amazing!
I like that you have gained a little extra, you are inspiring for getting up and working with what you’ve got. I haven’t been pregnant but it sure would be easy to make excuses and wear pj’s and eat things off of my belly all day.
Lovely pregnancy Style

Just discovered your blog and I’m so glad I did
You look wonderful!
Aww you look great! I love the ever-growing belly, how exciting. This skirt falls great on your stomach and the pink top is flattering and forgiving. Great accessorizing also.

You look great! It takes a lot of motivation to dress up when you’re tired all the time and your body’s changing. So far you’ve done a terrific job!
I don’t know if you’re up for DIYs, but Elsie over at A Beautiful Mess did a run of posts based on maternity clothes DIYs and they are beautiful! Maybe check them out: http://www.abeautifulmess.com/maternity/

BJ, you look amazing! At first glance of this pic I thought your hat was a braided crown, since it’s almost the color of your hair. I gasped in delight because Carrie would be so jealous of a braided hair crown! Wouldn’t that be a fun hair tutorial?? Don’t know how you would achieve it though
Love the pastel colors… so feminine and Summery!
