Paul Mitchell Curl Confession: The Story behind my Curly Looks
You know how I love wearing my curls this way and that.. the honest truth.. my curls (in their natural state) are kinda wavy and free. I wear them au natural on occasion, but most days I like to pump them up.. so, I thought I’d share the products I use to get the looks.
Having now become part of the Paul Mitchell Curl Confession club, I’m using their goodies on a daily basis. I always start with the Spring Loaded Detangling Shampoo and move on from there. Â For my Tousled Waves styling, I use the Paul Mitchell Ultimate Wave gel and enhance the curls with an 1.5″ curling iron. My secret behind the Curly Curls style is starting with the Paul Mitchell Twirl Around and then enhance with a teeny tiny .5″ curling iron. Now you know my secrets!
The last few months I’ve been making my curl confessions, and now it’s your turn.. head over the the Paul Mitchell Truth about Curls Facebook app and upload your own photo and curl confession (using the hashtag #curlconfession). The fun news is that these pictures are going to be projected at two Paul Mitchell hotspots…New York (at Bowery & Houston) and LA on November 15. All you have to do is submit your confession on Facebook or post your #curlconfession via Twitter or Instagram anytime before 11:59EST on 11/14. The streaming photos will go live, starting at 6pm EST on 11/15 for the NYC spectacle, and 6pm PST for the sister event in LA.

I know this is a curls post, but I just wanted to say you look wonderful, and I totally understand why you’ve been MIA; I wore almost nothing but black stretch head to toe the last 2 months of my most recent pregnancy… with a big wool sweater on top. I actually felt better naked than in any of my clothing.
