New Directions
Hello lovely B. Jones Style readers! No.. no baby yet.. just checking in before I take a break to have this little one and get things figured out. Before that happens, I wanted to have a heart to heart with you!
I’ve loved all the years of blogging and have felt honored that you have chosen to follow and be part of my style side of life. This year has taken a different turn and life has become less style and more personal. With the ups and downs of pregnancy I haven’t been working at the normal B. Jones Style speed, and honestly that will probably never look the same. I’m headed in a whole new direction, one that I’m excited about and one that I hope you will be part of with me.
So here’s the plan. Once I’m back on my feet B. Jones Style will start to look a little like this…
1. FIT AND FABULOUS! Time to get real. I’ve gained a lot of weight during this pregnancy (think Jessica Simpson), and I’ve got some serious work to get back to me. I’m going to let you in on this journey.. yes.. it will be honest and at times even a little embarrassing for me, but I think it’s important to open up and let you in on my process. There will be updates on goals, progress, workouts, healthy eating and basically anything that gets me feeling fit and fabulous!
2. PERSONAL STYLE! Of course, B. Jones Style has always been about how style seeps into what I wear and how I decorate my home.. this won’t change. As my body changes, I’ll be dressing to work with the positives and hopefully get back to the place where I’m able to claim my eclectic vintage inspired look. My home projects will continue to make an appearance.. I already have a few in the works.
3. HAIR TUTORIALS! Yay, I’m going to get back to teaching you ways to use your cheapest accessory. I’ve stored up a few ideas and will be getting those out to you every month.
4. DAY IN THE LIFE! My life looks a lot different these days and I want to let you in on moments and adventures along the way. A personal look at life as a Jones.
5. INSPIRED! I’ll still be sharing inspirations.. in the form of icons, editorials or anything that catches my eye.
6. EVERYTHING IN BETWEEN! Basically.. exactly what is says.
So there it is.. I hope you will join me along the way!

Beth, you continue to inspire me! I so appreciate your honesty and your openness. Blogging can be so tough and competitive and all about the image, but I truly believe that the best of the best (like yours) are the ones who open up and show us that it’s not all rainbows and puppies and Chanel. Your hair tutorials are my favorite! So glad those are coming back. I think things are changing now, but you’ll be back to your old self sooner than you can imagine. Can’t wait to see the little guy!

I gained 80 pounds when I had my boy. It was hard work and took a long time. Be kind to yourself is the best advice I can give you (and don’t try on your pre-pregnancy jeans for at least four or five months.)
So excited for your new Baby Jones arrival Beth and have loved seeing how you and now your blog are getting ready to adapt to a new way of life. Can’t wait to see how everything evolves but as its you, its sure to be done with style and flair! Look forward to hearing news xx
