Turner Brian Jones
Well, he’s here! Mr. Turner Brian Jones made an appearance on Thanksgving Day, November 22nd at 2:40 PM weighing 7lbs and 11oz.
What a day and what an experience! A very “movie moment” happened at 12:15 am when I laid down for the night and shot up suddenly realizing my water had broken. We jumped out of bed, packed the last minute items, grabbed the carseat and we were out the door to head to the hospital.
The morning started slowly, but once I was induced around 6 AM things started moving fast. By 2pm we were ready to push and my little man decided he didn’t want to linger.. he quickly pushed he’s way into the world and my tears started streaming. What a miracle! I couldn’t believe this bundle had been living inside me for nine months. It was a moment Brian and I will remember forever.
Thank you for taking the journey with me.. there has been some ups and downs.. and pregnancy was definitely not my favorite…but now it’s all been worth it! I have a little boy and my life has new sense of purpose and meaning.
Though things are transitional and new here, I’m back to blogging and B. Jones Style is here to stay. See you soon!

Oh my..you just made me cry!!!! Remembering that experience with my first one..it was amazing.. happened the same way too! Started contracting at 12 am and off to the hospital at 2..on no sleep ;( Came out in 2 pushes too..we got lucky huh?
He is beautiful and I am so excited for you to experience the next few months..it was the best time of my life!

I agree being pregnant is not fun, but it’s worth every single moment for the fabulous moment when you meet your little one for the first time !
