Fit & Fabulous Friday: My Weekly Recap

Ok.. Fit & Fabulous Followers.. I’ve had comment after comment about wanting to know more of what I’m doing to lose weight and stay fit and fab. So, I’ve decided to dedicate Fridays to a weekly run down of my routine.

I’ll get down to the nitty gritty, details of what I ate, how I worked out, results I’m seeing.. basically everything you could possibly want to know. If this is of no interest to you, feel free to ignore me on Friday.

Also, shoot me questions and let me know what you’d like to see more of. With that said.. here we go.. my week.

*Note: During the week I eat very strictly, basic and repetitive so that I don’t start veering off course. I usually choose foods that I love, but ones that are healthy and repeat them.. especially lunch. The weekend is my “play” time. I chill out and eat more freely.

MONDAY

Breakfast: Coffee (I know.. horrible.. but it’s the truth), Lunch: Plain chicken and 3 Sweet Potatoes baked and plain, Dinner: Salmon with a Soy Sauce/Honey/Garlic Glaze and Quinoa.

TUESDAY

Breakfast: Coffee, Lunch: Plain chicken and 3 Sweet Potatoes baked and plain, Dinner: Sauteed Shrimp and Quinoa

WEDNESDAY

Breakfast: Coffee, Lunch: Kale Salad from Goldie’s, Dinner: Healthy Chicken Chickpea Chopped Salad (pictured above)

No workout today

THURSDAY

Breakfast: Starbucks Grande Toffee Nut Misto, Lunch: Leftovers of the above Chicken Salad, Dinner: Baked Whole Chicken and Roasted Brussle Sprouts

FRIDAY

Breakfast: Coffee, Lunch: Healthy Chicken Chickpea Chopped Salad, Dinner: Baja Fish Tacos Baja Salad with Shrimp

SATURDAY AND SUNDAY

My plan is to workout either Saturday or Sunday and make good choices at restaurants that we go to on the weekends. Usually I’m a little more relaxed on what I eat during the weekend. I don’t snack, but I will have something more fun to eat on Saturday night. It’s kind of like my cheat day.

 

LUCKY FABB

Last week I had the pleasure of attending the Lucky Fabb Conference as a member of the Crossroads Style Council! It was two days of hanging with other fabulous fashion bloggers, learning from the greats and swapping secrets to style.

I spent 2012 in the haze of pregnancy, so it was good to dive back in and get my brain buzzing with ideas galore. I’m excited to make B. Jones Style the best that it can be in 2013.

Here are a few highlights from my fab days at FABB!

Loved meeting Shauna from Penny Chic and re-connecting with Sydne from Sydne Style.

Day One, I wore my favorite distressed denim dress.

Day two, I wore a vintage dress from Lost & Found, Sole Society Bag, ASOS belt and Nine West shoes.

I met Hannah who was wearing the B. Jones Style skirt from Modcloth.

And.. finally my Crossroads Style Council pal Mara and I hit up Dylan’s Candy Bar to load up on goodies for the road.
