All I can say is.. it’s fun to channel Marilyn Monroe… and may I add.. it takes a lot of work to channel Marilyn Monroe.
The process starts with curling and pinning all my hair. Then it’s on to makeup, and let’s just say fake eyelashes are not my best friends. Next, the hair comes out of the pins.. it’s brushed and sprayed into place. Finally, the outfit is chosen and it’s all about being feminine, flirty and fabulous.
Normally, when wearing a body hugging dress, I would pull out the spanx and suck it all in.. but this time I heard Marilyn say, “let’s embrace the imperfections.. and be the woman that you are”. Â Thanks Marilyn.. I think I will.
And with that, I was off on a date with my man.. oh.. and he’s loving this by the way!

Well here it is… the beginning of my week with Marilyn.
I decided to start off the week channeling the very classic Marilyn look, wearing her signature hair, makeup and a dress that could have walked out of her closet.
As I put the whole look together, I felt free to embrace my hourglass figure and enhance all the right places. There is a magic that comes with stepping into the heels of this iconic woman, and I’m ready to play the part.
The week has just begun.. and I think I could get used to this.
